HOW IT WORKS

← Back to Scout

Overview

GAC Scout analyzes your opponent's battle history to predict what defense they'll set and where they're weak on offense. It pulls data from c3po.wtf, which tracks GAC results from the game servers.

The more seasons of data available, the more reliable the predictions.

Predicted Defense Board

The board shows teams your opponent has placed on defense across all analyzed matches, arranged by zone. Each team is led by a specific character, with members listed by how often they appear alongside that leader.

Placement Rate

How often the opponent uses this team on defense, as a percentage of all analyzed matches.

ColorRangeMeaning
Green70%+Almost always placed — plan your counter for this
Yellow40–70%Frequent but not guaranteed — have a counter ready
Gray<40%Sometimes used — may rotate in or out

Member Frequency

Each team member shows how often they appear with that leader. A member at 90% is nearly always there; one at 40% rotates with other characters depending on the match. This helps you know which version of the team to expect.

Zone Assignment

Teams are placed into Front Wall, Fleet, and Back Wall zones based on where they've historically been set. Zone capacity matches the GAC format: 5v5 has 5/3/5/3 slots, 3v3 has 5/3/5/5 slots.

Unpredictability Score

Measures how much the opponent's defense varies from match to match, on a 0–100 scale. Calculated by comparing the set of leaders placed on defense across all analyzed matches using Jaccard similarity (intersection over union of leader sets between each pair of matches).

unpredictability = (1 − average_jaccard_similarity) × 100
ScoreLabelWhat it means
0–25PredictableSets the same defense almost every time. Easy to plan counters.
26–50ModerateSome variation, but core teams stay consistent.
51–75VariableFrequently changes approach. Harder to plan for.
76–100ChaoticRarely repeats the same defense. Prepare flexible counters.

Recommended Defenses

Teams your opponent has historically struggled to beat on offense. If they can't clear these teams, setting them on your defense gives you a better chance of holding banners.

Table Columns

ColumnWhat it shows

MembersMost common teammates (hidden on mobile)
Fail %How often they failed to clear this team. Higher = better for you.
RecordFailures out of total encounters (e.g. 3/10 = failed 3 of 10 times)
MultiTimes they needed multiple attempts, even if they eventually cleared

Fail Rate Colors

ColorRangeMeaning
Red30%+Major weakness — strongly consider setting this on defense
Yellow15–30%Moderate struggle — a solid defensive option
Blue<15%Usually clears it — less reliable as a hold
