SWGOH: New Republic & Imperial Remnant Kit Reveals
Four new units are being revealed for Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes:
R5-D4
- Alignment: Light Side
- Categories: Support, Droid, New Republic, Rebel, Rebel Fighter
- Basic — The Red One: Deals Physical damage, inflicts 2 stacks of Damage Over Time for 1 turn. If it's R5-D4's turn, Expose target enemy for 1 turn. During an enemy's turn, Shock that enemy for 1 turn.
- Special 1 — Tactical Support (Cooldown 3): Dispels all debuffs on New Republic allies. All allies gain a stack of Retaliate for 1 turn and faction/role-based benefits (Attackers ignore Taunt, Healers/Supports gain Critical Avoidance, Tanks gain additional Retaliate and Taunt).
- Special 2 — Bad Motivator (Cooldown 75): R5-D4 loses all Protection, gains that much Max Health. Deals True Damage to all enemies equal to 50% of Max Health, reduced to 1 Health. Increases all enemies' cooldowns by 2. R5-D4 is Stunned for 2 turns (cannot be dispelled). If defeated during Stun, revives with 50% Health.
- Unique 1 — Built for Adventure (Zeta and Omicron): Grants max Protection to Rebel allies, Protection Up on damage while a New Republic ally Taunts, Deflective Ward on New Republic allies under specific conditions. Inflicts Damage Over Time when enemies recover Health/Protection. Assists when New Republic allies use Special abilities. Immune to Ability Block and Cooldown Increase if all allies were New Republic at start. Territory Wars bonuses include Defense, Tenacity, reduced Bad Motivator cooldown, Max Health stacking, and maximum enemy cooldowns.
Zeb Orrelios (New Republic Pilot)
- Alignment: Light
- Categories: Tank, New Republic
- Basic — Suppressive Barrage: Deals Physical damage, inflicts Accuracy Down for 1 turn. If target already has Accuracy Down, Blind them for 1 turn instead.
- Special 1 — Devastating Sweep (Cooldown: 3) (Zeta): Dispels all buffs on target enemy, inflicts Protection Disruption and Vulnerable (cannot be evaded or resisted). Deals Physical damage to all enemies and Provokes them for 2 turns (cannot be dispelled).
- Special 2 — Tactical Reversal (Cooldown: 3): Deals Physical damage equal to 25% of target enemy's Max Health. Dispels all Taunt effects on enemies, and Zeb Taunts for 2 turns (if Taunt dispelled, Zeb's Taunt is undispellable). If target ally is New Republic, they gain role-based buffs and enemies receive corresponding debuffs.
- Unique — Lasat Enforcer (Omicron): Grants Evasion, Critical Avoidance, Max Health, and Max Protection based on New Republic allies. Starts with Taunt and Protection Up for New Republic allies. Gains Defense and Tenacity while Taunting. Inflicts Accuracy Down when New Republic allies evade. Recovers Health Over Time and Frenzy, and grants Turn Meter when Health is low. 3v3 Grand Arena bonuses include 100% Evasion, Stealth for allies, Stat bonuses, and synergy with Captain Carson Teva and R5-D4. Armor Shred on critical hits, Health/Protection recovery on evasion, and Damage Immunity under specific conditions.
Carson Teva
- Alignment: Light
- Categories: Attacker, Constable, New Republic, Rebel
- Basic Ability — On Your Signal: Deals Physical damage, gains Retribution for 1 turn. During Carson Teva's turn, all other New Republic allies gain Retribution. Attacks again on enemy turns (max 2 attacks).
- Special 1 — Keeping the Peace (Cooldown: 4): Deals Physical damage 3 times. Calls target other ally to assist. Inflicts cumulative debuffs based on critical hits (Offense Down, Defense Down, Speed Down).
- Leader — Captain of the Adelphi Rangers (Territory Battle Omicron): Grants Accuracy and Critical Damage to New Republic allies. Inflicts On the Run and counterattack bonuses. Grants Retribution on Special ability use. Grants Potency on debuff resistance. Exposes enemies on counterattack. On the Run debuff effects detailed. Territory Battles Omicron bonuses include Max Health, Max Protection, Defense Penetration, Offense, Foresight for Tanks, Daze immunity, Healing Immunity, bonus damage on out-of-turn attacks, and reset of Keeping the Peace cooldown. Deathmark and Expose on defeating enemies.
- Unique — Unauthorized Operation (Zeta): Grants Retribution to New Republic Tank allies. Grants Max Health, Max Protection, and Offense to Teva. Inflicts debuffs on enemies when New Republic allies are debuffed. Speed Down on fast enemies. Grants Critical Chance and Critical Damage when allies gain Advantage. Reduces Keeping the Peace cooldown when R5-D4 uses Special. Grants Advantage when allies use Specials on On the Run targets. Inflicts On the Run when allies evade.
Snowtrooper Commander
- Alignment: Dark
- Categories: Leader, Tank, Empire, Imperial Trooper, Imperial Remnant
- Basic — T-21B Blaster Rifle: Deals Physical damage, inflicts Vulnerable for 1 turn. If target already has Vulnerable, inflicts Offense Down for 2 turns. Snowtrooper assists during Snowtrooper Commander's turn.
- Special 1 — Hunker Down (Cooldown 3): Dispels all debuffs on Snowtrooper Commander. Gains 200% Defense and Taunts for 2 turns. Empire allies gain Defense Up, Imperial Remnant allies gain Protection Up. Recovers Health and Protection.
- Special 2 — Rifle Butt (Cooldown 4): Deals Physical damage and Stuns target enemy for 1 turn. Snowtrooper and TIE Fighter Pilot gain Alert and Offense equal to 100% of Snowtrooper Commander's Defense. All Imperial Remnant non-Tank allies Stealth for 2 turns.
- Unique — Whiteout Conditions: While Taunting, inflicts Defense Penetration and Turn Meter on allies when damaged or debuffed. While not Taunting, gains Turn Meter when other Imperial Remnant allies are damaged. Grants Critical Avoidance and Tenacity while Snowtrooper Commander has Protection. Allies Stealth and recover Health/Protection when scoring multiple Critical Hits.
- Leader — Warlord's Enforcer (Zeta and Omicron): Grants Max Health and Max Protection to Imperial Remnant allies. Health/Protection recovery and Defense Up when allies fall below Health threshold. Taunt for Snowtrooper Commander. Defense bonus when Ability Blocking. Speed Down and Tenacity Down on enemies for specific actions. 3v3 Grand Arena Omicron bonuses include Taunt, Stealth, Advantage, Defense Up, bonus Protection, Alert, Offense Up, stacking Offense, Protection recovery on Stealth, increased Critical Chance/Damage for Stealthed allies, team cleanse on Hunker Down, and Turn Meter/cooldown reduction on Ability Block.
