PC client stuck in update loop; fix is to fully close and reopen EA App

The PC rollout went sideways. Multiple players hit an update loop on the EA App where the patch downloads, finishes, then immediately asks to update again.

  • MeatheadMilitia acknowledged the PC client status: "PC client is mostly ok, but quest button still objectives and does not work if looked at wrong" and said "We are currently trying to get this update out as soon as possible."
  • Confirmed the loop bug specifically: "Yup, we're talking about that now in the call."
  • Posted the workaround for PC players: close out the EA App completely and reopen it to get into the game.

He repeated the workaround across multiple short messages so it landed for people scrolling in.
