Conquest characters and Galactic Legends will continue to require gear. Other units released through Journey Guide events will generally use the new Era system while their Era is active.
Era Level resources can be earned through the Episode Track, daily Coliseum rewards, Marquee events, and the Era Journey Guide event.
Free-to-play players will be able to get all Era characters to Gear 12, which is intended to reduce the need for Kyrotechs on marquee characters.
Some Era Level resources, including Era Level Currency, will be available for crystals.

Faction LSTs from new Quests will be usable by any characters whose Era began at least a year before the quest granting the LST is released. The first LST applicable to characters from Era of Apprentices or beyond is the Droid LST in February 2026, for which Huyang will be eligible.
When Era units become Legacy units, they will utilize the Gear and Relic systems, and their shards will be available through traditional means according to the updated Marquee Shard Cadence.
Art department schedule capacity for new cinematics is determined on a case-by-case basis.
The Gungan Phalanx omicron will still be marked as a GC omicron. It is planned to transition to a different game mode in the future, and a refund of omicron materials will be decided at that time.
Conquest and Galactic Legend progression remains unchanged.
Legendary and Epic Confrontation events associated with an Era for initial release will be a 4-star unlock. Journey Guide events separate from any Era may have other unlock rarities.
Marquee event structure is not changing, but some Era Level resources are being added to rewards.
Mods cannot be equipped to Era units. Mods can be equipped to new Marquee units after they transition to Legacy units.
Era Battles will continue, with the first run of each new Era Battle starting after the associated Era ends.
Coliseum and Era Progression are intended to make returning to the game easier, as all players start on equal footing in Era game modes.
Data on the relic delta damage multiplier will be monitored for adjustments.
Internal testing of Coliseum battles shows an average attempt takes about 2-3 minutes.
Evasion as a Mastery stat is being closely monitored, and R10 provides a boost to Accuracy for all units.
