Captain Enoch - Question and Answers
This post addresses player questions about Captain Enoch.
- Ideal Support Characters: For Captain Enoch outside of Dark Trooper (Peridea) and Night Trooper, Stormtrooper and Scout Trooper are effective. Dark Trooper can also provide solid damage.
- Advantage and Crit Avoidance: There are no current plans to change Advantage. The intent is for Captain Enoch to be resistant to critical hits, but other characters should remain susceptible to Advantage.
- 450% Crit Chance Reduction: This specific number resulted from rigorous testing to allow high crit affinity characters to occasionally land a critical hit under proper circumstances, as being crit is an exploitable weakness for Enoch's team.
- Dark Trooper Placement: Dark Trooper works well under Enoch, benefiting from aspects like his Special ability Last Command granting Advantage to Imperial Remnant Attackers, even though it does not benefit from Decay.
- Blight and Basic Attack: When attacking a target with Blight using the Basic ability, the second instance of damage results in a 5% Turn Meter reduction, not 10%.
- Gaining Decay: Allies gain Decay when reaching 1% Health, or if they have less than 3 stacks of Decay and are under 50% Health, Enoch can force it to trigger. The intent is for an Imperial Remnant to bounce back after being near death.
- Territory Battle Omicron: Enoch has a powerful TB Omicron on his Unique ability to assist the Dark Trooper Moff Gideon mission in ROTE, aiming to improve win rates and reduce remodding needs.
- Empire/Remnant Squad Splits: Capital Games plans for new Empire additions but intentionally leaves holes in squads due to the potential for new Imperial Trooper types.
- Special Datacron: Captain Enoch does not have a special datacron due to the current datacron set's expiration time and to avoid competing with the Night Trooper datacron.
- Exclusion from Empire Tag: Enoch, Night Trooper, and Death Trooper (Peridea) lack the Empire or Imperial Trooper tags because Thrawn’s forces have been outside the Empire’s chain of command for over a decade, and there is no Empire for them to be part of.
- IR Allies Taunt with Decay: Imperial Remnant allies taunt when gaining Decay to help protect Enoch, as he cannot gain Decay himself. This allows them to absorb damage while performing their roles, due to significant Max Health increases from Decay.
- Captain Enoch's Deck Color: Abzan, representing White/Black/Green, with themes of Return to the Battlefield, Regeneration, and Protection.
