SWGOH news: datacron

This update accelerates Depa Billaba, makes Cinta Kaz farmable, and includes numerous bug fixes and adjustments. Changes address ability functionality for multiple characters, correct display issues, and update datacron effects.

Update 5-27-2026 ships Colonel Ward, Grogu & Anzellans, and Rotta the Hutt kits. Vel Sartha shards are now farmable from Cantina Battles 9-C. Bug fixes cover Major Partagaz Unique wording, Armor Shred raid quest counting, URoRRuR'R'R Conquest string, Bounty Hunter quest, loaned portraits, Imperial Remnant enemy tagging, and an Emperor Palpatine datacron soft lock.

Upcoming kit changes update Gungan Phalanx's Omicron to Territory Wars with reduced values, gate Ezra Bridger (Exile)'s power behind a full Spectre squad with a kit rework, give GL Ahsoka counterattack True damage and Blind immunity, and restrict Merrin's Omicron to matches without Galactic Legends. Relic and Omicron investments on affected units will be reset and refunded.

The May the 4th update introduces Cantina 2.0 with visual and content overhauls for Campaigns and Mods. Era system changes include increased levels, currency, and Relic conversion. Loaned Units will be added to Coliseum, and future updates will bring Overcharge, Era Arena, and a Training Mode replacing Squad Arena.

A developer announced an investigation into reported issues with the Power for Hire datacron set. Updates will be provided on the same forum post as more information becomes available.

Asajj Ventress (Dark Disciple) is now farmable from Dark Side Battles 9-B. CC-1119 "Appo" has been added to the Accelerated Characters list. Several bug fixes address character abilities, Datacron descriptions, and event mechanics, with some material refunds to follow.

Today's SWGOH update makes IG-90 shards farmable from Cantina Battles 8-A. The update also addresses various character bugs, including issues with Stormtrooper Luke, IG-90, Krennic, Crosshair, Paploo, Satele, Maul (Hate-Fueled), Kleya, Corrupted Translation, Luthen, and Grand Master. Several description updates and Conquest-related fixes are also included.

Six new units are now available in Chromium Packs and Shipments, including Stormtrooper Luke and Darth Vader (Duel's End). Stormtrooper Luke is also farmable on Dark Side Battles 9-A, and Wrecker (Mercenary) has accelerated shard drops. Several bug fixes for abilities, raid mechanics, and Datacron effects were implemented.

This update adds News Hunter (Mercenary) to Accelerated Characters. It also fixes multiple bugs related to Lightspeed Tokens, GAC, Galactic Legend Hondo, Jedi Knight Revan, 4-LOM, Inquisitor Barriss, datacrons, Great Mothers, Temple Guard, Luthen, and various Protection Up effects. Additionally, Imperial Probe Droid and Director Krennic received significant kit adjustments.

Datacrons will now release monthly and last for three months instead of releasing every other month and lasting four months. The complexity of each set will be lowered. Starting with Set 26, Datacron reroll costs for Levels 4-6 are halved, and the number of factions per set is reduced from four to two.

This update makes Zuckuss, 4-LOM, and Rebel B-wing farmable. It also accelerates Maul (Fuel-Hatred) and Omega (Fugitive) and announces an Additive Drops Event. Several bugs were corrected, and Bastila Shan and Mission Vao received kit updates.

A hotfix for the Pillars of War datacron issue has been rolled out. The rollback of affected Datacrons is complete, and the make good has been distributed to player inboxes. Players should restart their client if they do not see the make good.

An issue with overpowered Attacker-affix Datacrons will be addressed in an upcoming hotfix. Player Datacron inventories will be reverted, and players will receive new Datacrons, upgrade materials, and reduced Data-cache costs. Reroll material costs will be lowered, and affected players are advised to avoid Datacron investments until the rollback is complete.

An update has been released, granting 5,000 Era Currency to affected accounts and updating the Episode Pass description. It fixed an issue with bonus damage from Datacron Set 25 and reset affected Datacrons to level 5, refunding upgrade currencies. Reroll materials were not refunded and this is under investigation.

A hotfix was released to update Darth Vader's Datacron ability. The change addresses an issue with Darth Vader and the Bad Batch squad, allowing Darth Vader to be defeated if all allies are defeated or Captured.

The Anniversary Datacron set has incorrect gear level requirements. The intended requirements for the 3/6/9 affixes were G10/12/R1, but they are currently set to R1/3/5. A fix is targeted for December 10, and it will only apply to new Datacrons.

This update introduces Galactic Legend Hondo Ohnaka and makes Brutus available in Chromium Packs and Shipments. Shin Hati is now Accelerated, and Quiggold shards are farmable from Fleet Battles 3-D (Hard). Several bugs were fixed, including issues with Bad Batch Riposte, SEE's Linked effect, and Crosshair (Scarred) recovery while Captive.

Today's update includes the release of the third batch of Galactic Legend Hondo Ohnaka's requirements and makes Depa Billaba shards farmable from Cantina Battles 3-E. Several bug fixes address issues with unit abilities, datacron effects, and an Era Battle blockade.

Patch notes for 8-6-2025. Temple Guard shards are now farmable from Fleet Battles 3-B (Hard). Captain Enoch is Accelerated. Numerous bug fixes covering Scorch, Maz, Jocasta Nu, Rose, Quiggold, multiple Datacrons, Baylan, Cere, Master Qui-Gon, CX-2, Hutt Cartel, Ezra, and Hondo.

Today's SWGOH update adds Scorch to Dark Side Hard Mode, accelerates Death Trooper, and fixes several bugs. Adjustments were made to Wampa's Omicron, CX-2's taunt ignore, GM's stats, Baylan's description, and Jedi Master Mace Windu's leader ability.
