Client Update Prep 3-26 Introduces Focused Datacrons
- New item: Focused Datacrons (FDCs) will be added.
- FDCs offer linear progression, displaying precise benefits for each upgrade without chance mechanics.
- The cost of upgrading FDCs will be higher than normal Datacrons.
- FDCs are designed to bolster squad compositions not already supported by existing Datacron sets.
- FDCs can have multiple Bonus Mechanics for characters or different factions on a single FDC.
Quick Facts:
- FDCs will go up to level 15, instead of the traditional 9 levels.
- FDCs can be acquired through Episode Shipments.
- FDCs are part of the same set as other Datacrons released at the same time but have their own inventory section.
- Upgrading FDCs uses the same Datacron currency and upgrade materials.
- FDCs cannot be dusted or re-rolled.
- Future Datacron rewards from Marquee events will use the FDC format, fully upgraded upon acquisition.
- Each player may only own one of each FDC released.
- Each FDC costs 10,000 Episode Currency to purchase from shipments.
- All bonus stats and modifiers on an FDC are visible before purchase.
- For the first release, 4 FDCs will be available in the Episode Shipments store until the next Datacron set is released.
- FDCs have lower character requirements, with the highest FDC level for this first set requiring Gear 5.
- Resources for FDCs will be returned akin to normal Datacron dismantling at the end of a set's time.
Other Client Update features:
- Alphabetized titles and portraits.
- Navigation arrows on the Datacron screen to quickly navigate to another Datacron.
- Alert for going over Raid Currencies Cap.
- Episode Currency bank display on the Episode Track Screen.
- All Quest progress notifications will no longer go beyond 3 and will include a 'SEE more' button.
- The Datacron Currency cap will be raised to 100 million.
Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where Fear inflicted by "Threads of Destiny" could cause minor blocker under specific circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where new audio added to the game is not getting updated and downloaded.
Rollout of the new client will begin next week.
