Datacron Issue 12/17

View original on Capital Games →

An attempt to fix overpowered Attacker-affix Datacrons introduced issues, resulting in insufficient resources for players regarding Pillars of War.

An upcoming hotfix will address these issues by EOD tomorrow.

Specific changes and compensations are:

  • The state of Pillars of War Datacron inventories for affected players will be reverted to their state before the Wednesday update (excluding Focused Datacrons). This will not impact other inventory parts.
  • The Attacker Affix will be updated to deal less damage per buff, and a bug causing AoE attacks to deal more than intended damage will be fixed.
  • Players will receive new, level 0, Pillars of War Datacrons for each Attacker Datacron in their inventory, plus one additional (even if no Attacker Datacrons or no Datacrons are present). These new Datacrons are in addition to the Attacker Datacrons received from the rollback.
  • Players will receive all materials needed to take these new Datacrons to level 9.
  • Data-cache cost to improve Pillars of War Datacron levels will be reduced by 90% (e.g., level 2 to level 3 will cost 30,000 Data-cache instead of 300,000 Data-cache).
  • All players will receive 20,000 Alteration Mk 1, 20,000 Alteration Mk 2, and 20,000 Alteration Mk 3 reroll materials per Attacker Datacron.
  • Data-cache costs of rerolling will be set to 1 Data-cache.
  • The dust value for reroll materials for the Pillars of War set will be set to 0.

Impacted players should not invest in Datacrons until the rollback is complete, as any changes made during this period would be lost. Lost items for impacted players will be returned.
