SWGOH news: relic

Today's SWGOH update adds Scorch to Dark Side Hard Mode, accelerates Death Trooper, and fixes several bugs. Adjustments were made to Wampa's Omicron, CX-2's taunt ignore, GM's stats, Baylan's description, and Jedi Master Mace Windu's leader ability.

A new Light Side Healer, Kix, is announced, joining the Pirate, Clone Trooper, and Scoundrel categories. He specializes in healing and reviving Pirate allies, with mechanics centered around a new Profit buff and stealing enemy buffs. Kix will be available via a Marquee Event starting July 29th.

The next Era Battle, "Raiders of the Outer Rim," will feature Galactic Legend Hondo Ohnaka in August, including a bonus tier requiring him. Smugglers Run 3 is also coming later this year to PC and mobile, requiring Hondo at Relic 3 and Relic 9 for different tiers.

Quiggold, a Dark Side Tank, Pirate, and Scoundrel, is revealed with an Order 66 Raid tag. He unlocks via a Marquee event on July 15 and is required at Relic 5 for Galactic Legend Hondo. His kit features synergy with Captain Ithano and other Pirates, including Taunt stealing, buff stealing, and a Territory Battle Omicron focused on Pirate survivability.

Captain Ithano, a Dark Side Pirate and Scoundrel Attacker, is revealed as a new unit and leader for the Pirate faction. He introduces the "Stealing" mechanic and interacts with "Profit" stacks. His kit focuses on inflicting debuffs, stealing buffs, and gaining Foresight and Offense Up. He is a required unit for Galactic Legend Pirate King Hondo Ohnaka.

A new "Era of Piracy" content update for Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes introduces Hondo Ohnaka as a Galactic Legend. The update also features new units, an "Era Battle" mode, and various in-game resources available through a new episode pass system.

A new Order 66 Raid launches 6/25 at 11am, pitting allowed Pirates, Bad Batch, Dark Side Clone Troopers, and a new Jedi Vanguard faction against Lord Vader at the Jedi Temple. Players save NPC Jedi by defeating Disguised Clone Troopers and Knightfall Troopers, breaking Vader's concentration with three attacks. Guild milestones were retuned and attempts shortened.

Jedi Master Mace Windu is a new Light Side Attacker and Leader with Galactic Republic, Jedi, and Jedi Vanguard categories. He introduces the new Investigation and Revealed mechanics. He will be unlockable via a Legendary event requiring Relic 5 marquee units from the Era of Revenge of the Sith, starting June 24. Aayla Secura receives a new Unique ability with this release.

The developer post clarifies the correct Tier requirements for the upcoming Crimes Against the Republic Era Battle event. It details the specific character and gear level requirements for each of the seven tiers, noting that Depa Billaba and Jedi Master Mace Windu will be available in a future update.

Temple Guard, a new Galactic Republic Jedi Tank, is revealed. They focus on Critical Avoidance Up and Taunting, with abilities that scale with Relic levels and ally composition. Temple Guard is required for unlocking Jedi Master Mace Windu at Relic 5.

RC-1262 "Scorch" is a new Dark Side Tank unit, unlocking via Marquee event on May 20. He introduces the Bulwark buff and is required at Relic 5 for Jedi Master Mace Windu. His kit synergizes with Lord Vader and the reworked Grand Moff Tarkin, particularly in Grand Arenas.

Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is launching a May the 4th celebration with in-game gifts, new bundles including a Separatist Commander Razor Crest, and various events and drop bonuses. The celebration will run for two weeks.

A new Dark Side Support unit, Disguised Clone Trooper, is coming to SWGOH. He specializes in debuffs, bonus turns for allies under Lord Vader, and has a Territory Wars Omicron that significantly impacts Order 66 mechanics. He requires Relic 5 to unlock Jedi Master Mace Windu.

The Era Battle: Knightfall begins on April 15, 2025. It features Dark Side Clone Troopers and a loaned Lord Vader, with 6 tiers of increasing Relic requirements. Rewards include Omega Materials, character shards, various gear salvage, Signal Data, Zinbiddle Cards, Gyrda Keypads, Droid Brains, and Omicron Materials.

This update makes Batcher's shards farmable from Fleet Battles, fixes several bugs, and details numerous adjustments to Datacron sets and character abilities.

The kit for CC-1119 "Appo" is revealed, categorizing him as a Dark Side Attacker and Clone Trooper. He is designed to synergize with Galactic Legend Lord Vader and other Dark Side Clone Troopers, including a summoned Knightfall Trooper. Appo's abilities focus on dispelling buffs, applying Damage Over Time, and granting buffs like Dramatic Entrance.

A new Light Side Attacker, Crosshair (Scarred), is announced for Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes. He is designed as the final piece of a new Bad Batch squad and his kit revolves around managing stacks of a debuff called Shaken. His Marquee event begins March 11th, requiring Omega (Fugitive), Batcher, Hunter (Mercenary), and Wrecker (Mercenary).

The Galactic Relic Mastery Vault II will be available on the Webstore this weekend, offering various relic materials and credits. A discount code is provided for $25 off. Players can enter a giveaway by commenting with a Star Wars character not currently in-game and their Ally code.

Wrecker (Mercenary) is revealed as a new Light Side Tank character for the Bad Batch faction, also with the Mercenary tag. His kit focuses on dispelling buffs, Turn Meter manipulation, and gaining defensive stats through his Soldier of Fortune unique. Wrecker's Marquee event begins February 25, 2025.

This update introduces the February event calendar, new kits for Jocasta Nu and Hunter, and makes General Syndulla's shards farmable. It includes fixes for several bugs, such as Grand Inquisitor's instant defeat ability in Territory Wars and TIE Dagger's self-damage. Known issues for Hunter and the new Datacron are also noted.
